The Impossible Project – Impossibly Cool Instant Cameras

The Impossible Project and Polaroids for the vintage camera enthusiasts.

I saw the following refurbished camera in Urban Outfitters the other day.  It looked so pretty.

It’s from the Impossible Project and they included instant film inside the packet.  I’ve forgotten how much it costs, perhaps over $120, but as tempted as I was to buy it, I already own a Fuji Instax, an old Polaroid land camera which I picked up at a flea market, along with a number of other digital cameras.

I don’t know if my Polaroid works, it still makes a sound when I press the button, but to really test it out, I’d have to purchase instant film from the Impossible Project since they’re the only ones who sell it, and it’s impossibly expensive at $20+ for 8 exposures.

The camera that I own but have never used 😦

In case you’re interested in these type of cameras or want to gift someone with one (please feel free to send me one), here is the link to the Impossible Project’s website.
